Wstrzymał Słońce, ruszył Ziemię/Stopped the Sun and moved the Earth

Realizacja projektu „Edukacja przez Sztukę” w ramach programu stypendialnego #kulturawsieci stworzonego przez Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego @mkidn_gov_pl oraz Narodowe Centrum Kultury @nckultury, którego celem jest finansowe wsparcie realizacji projektów upowszechniających dorobek kultury i zwiększających obecność kultury w życiu społecznym, których odbiór następuje poprzez narzędzia on-line.
Projekt „Edukacja przez Sztukę” to projekt artystyczny przeznaczony dla dzieci i młodzieży.
Celem projektu jest rozpowszechnianie wiedzy o wybitnych Polakach i do zapoznania się z historią naszego kraju.

Kogo opisuje wiersz? Oczywiście! Mikołaja Kopernika -to on usunął naszą planetę z centrum wszechświata i opracował znany nam dzisiaj heliocentryczny model Układu Słonecznego. Astronom przez 50 lat obserwował niebo i ruch planet, zanim ogłosił swoje spostrzeżenia w dziele „De rvolutionibus orbium coelestium” („O obrotach sfer niebieskich”). Kościół uznał zawarte tam tezy za herezje i aż do 1828 roku utrzymywał dzieło w zestawieniu ksiąg zakazanych. Tymczasem tezy Kopernika zrewolucjonowały sposób patrzenia na miejsce Ziemi i człowieka we wszechświecie oraz zapoczątkowały rozwój nauk ścisłych.

Who is the poem about? Of course, it is Nicolaus Copernicus! He removed our planet from the center of the universe and developed the heliocentric model of the solar system we know today. The astronomer observed the sky and the movement of planets for 50 years before announcing his observations in De Rvolutionibus orbium coelestium (On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres). The church considered the theses contained in it as heresy and until 1828 it kept its job on the list of banned books. Meanwhile, Copernicus' theses have revolutionized the way we look at the place of Earth and man in the universe and initiated the development of exact sciences.
